For some time now, we have been hearing more and more about the intentions of business owners to retire from business management, but in reality, the process is going on rather slowly and hardly. This is understandable because the withdrawal of a business founder from management is a very large and complex change not only for the owner but also for the company as a whole. But no matter how difficult and complex it may be, it will inevitably have to happen in every company someday. In order for such a change to take place in a sustainable way, very good preparation is needed. It is necessary to transform the management model, provide the right place and functions in the company for the owner retiring from day-to-day management to participate in important strategic decisions and professionally, without restricting the freedom of action, control the hired manager, select the right manager and take other necessary actions.

The course is intended for:

  • Companies with an annual turnover of more than 5 million Eur owners who intend to withdraw from the management of the company and hire a professional manager;
  • Companies with an annual turnover of more than 5 million Eur owners who have already left the management of the company and still have unanswered questions related to it.

In the course we will explain:

  • When is it time to hand over business management to an owner-hire manager?
  • Why is it often painful for an owner to withdraw from business management? How to prepare for it properly?
  • What is the role of the owner, functions after the transfer of business management to a hired manager?
  • What should be the first hired manager, ie what should be his / her education, competencies, experience, personal qualities?
  • What reward package to offer to the manager?
  • What are the key success factors for a hired manager?
  • How does the owner, without restricting the manager’s freedom of action, effectively control the activities of the hired manager, what control tools to use?

The course content is intended for companies with an annual turnover of more than 5 million. Eur.

There will be no more than 12 people in the group, so you will have enough time to discuss the issues that concern you with the lecturer and find the right solutions.
