Dr. Giedrė Šadeikaitė – 10 years of international work experience in institutions such as the United Nations World Tourism Organization, the European Commission, the International Business Promotion Center, “Invest in Lithuania”, the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy, alumni of the KURK LIETUVAI program, expert in sustainable tourism. Giedrė says that she is motivated by perfection in everything she does, and she knows how to connect the “right dots” to make the impossible happen.

Viktorija Bružaitė-Kazlauskienė – director of GATVĖS GYVOS, alumni of the program KURK LIETUVAI. Viktorija states that it is important to give all people the opportunity to explore and get to know their city more deeply, so her aim for “Gatvės gyvos” to become a platform for residents’ dialogue on issues of history and culture, to promote interest and a conscious approach to multifaceted heritage.

Janis Žekanis – passionate canoe maker, paddling enthusiast, experienced tour guide and tourism industry consultant. Janis accumulated knowledge while studying in Canada and Russia, and he discovered the world by traveling both on land and water for years. The founder of the experimental company “Wet Weim” started with one self-made canoe, which today has grown into the organization of award-winning canoe tours around Lithuania. Such success inspired us to expand our activities and introduce our customers to new tourist destinations abroad.

Odeta Giedraitytė is a resident of the KUFA Culture and Creative Industries Incubation Program, a young tour organizer who loves Klaipėda and sees the potential of this region to grow and prosper. Even before completing her studies in tourism administration and event organization, she was convinced that she would never live in Klaipėda, that she would look for happiness abroad, so she went to Japan, England, the Hawaiian Islands, and tried to live in Vilnius… After wandering around the world, her values and accumulated experience changed. chased back home, to Klaipėda. And then the love for the city began, exploring it and creating the “Klaipeda By Local” project, which aims to show locals and visiting guests that there is something to do in Klaipėda and why it is good to live here!

Also other mentors will join the discussion: Aušra Pacevičiūtė – co-founder of 10 TILTŲ, Dr. Raimonda Nabažaitė – manager of the excursion-historical narrative “Migrantas” project, Raimonda Masalskienė – director of Kultūros fabrikas, founder of the SOFIJOS festivalis.

The seminar is free and partially financed by Klaipėda City Municipality.
Please note that photography and/or filming may take place at the event!
