The motivational mechanisms of our brain are evolutionarily very old. They evolved to find food, multiply, and conquer territory. Their goal is to steer our actions in the direction that will ensure our success. So failures never motivate us – they motivate only the success I have experienced before and the belief that I can achieve it again. However, today we are looking for motivation for completely different activities. Can we incorporate these processes into our daily lives? In the lecture, we will look at how a small molecule of dopamine gives us a stimulus to act and rewards a sense of reward when a goal is achieved. We will discuss the impact of expectations on our motivation. Finally, we will evaluate our daily behavioral practices and how they can reduce or increase our motivation.

The training will take place Online.
