When running a business, it is helpful to have a systematic approach to corporate finance, understanding the full scope and purpose of the recommended corporate finance tools. Often, the manager also performs the tasks assigned to the financial manager – planning cash flows and the need for external financing, usually intuitively assessing the return on business development investments.

This training – a kind of summary of corporate finance – will provide an overview of the business world through the prism of corporate finance. In the training, we will classify all business solutions into 4 main groups:

• Decisions where and why we need to invest existing or newly raised funds (investment decisions)
• Decisions where and how to obtain financing for planned investments (financing decisions)
• Decisions on how much and in what form to return funds to business owners (optimal capital structure or distribution decisions)
• Management through goals and desired results as a method to ensure the implementation of strategic directions, while making optimal use of resources provided to company managers

The training will also teach you the role of a finance manager in a company, the typical tasks assigned to a finance manager and the typical functions of a finance department in a company.

We will illustrate the training with practical examples and practical tasks.
