Ahlers is looking for a hands-on and solution-oriented Customer Service Specialist at his office in Klaipeda.

You will act as back-office and work closely with the customer service team in the HQ in Antwerp, Belgium.

In your role you will be the single point of contact towards subcontractors upon coordinating and organizing transport orders from A to Z.

You will organize your work within the current regulations and work according to the events and scenarios in the TMS.

The coordination includes pre-carriage, on-carriage, customs instructions towards customs agent for ocean, rail, road and air shipments. In your function, you will be handling both import and export shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of the customer order in the TMS.
  • Fixation of transportation data in the Transport Management System.
  • Ensure orders are handled compliant with internal processes and procedures. (ISO9001:2015)
  • Full support and execution of documentation.
  • Approval of supplier invoices according to buying and selling rates controlled by the procurement and sales department.
