More detailed responsibilities include:
- Managing and supervising the execution of external audit engagements of various clients by relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards;
- Maintaining a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature’ trends’ and technical issues relevant to the client’s industry;
- Overseeing engagement management (including managing the budget, resourcing strategy, billing and collections);
- Setting the culture for the engagement team and mentoring members in their career development.
We hope that you have:
- A university degree in Economics, Finance, Audit or Accountancy and ACCA, CFA or LCA certification;
- At least 5 years of audit experience (working in one of the Big4 companies would be a huge plus);
- Strong knowledge of current auditing, accounting and financial reporting standards;
- Analytical and problem solving abilities;
- Good professional communication skills;
- The ability to prioritize work and work under tight deadlines;
- A proactive – ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both spoken and written.
